All new Coaches must do the following:
- Register Online
- Obtain your Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y Certification Card
- Get your Fingerprinting/ Background Check
To register go to the online forms tab and register with the WYBA as a potential coach.
Coaching Requirements:
In order to coach in either the Travel or Recreation Program of the Warren Youth Basketball Program, you must submit a copy of your Rutgers Certification card as well as proof of being fingerprinted by a state approved agency, Sagem Morpho. All correspondence should go through our P.O. Box;

Fingerprinting
Fingerprinting is now handled by a private firm Sagem Morpho under contract to the state of NJ.

Print the form after you fill it out online and bring it with you to your appointment.
Note: A copy of a pre-filled form can also be found in the "Documents" link to the left. There you will also find more detailed directions provided by the Warren Recreation Department.
2. When you receive your receipt - for the day of your appointment make a copy and send it to Warren Recreation, 46 Mountain Blvd. Warren, NJ 07059 or fax 908-753-7768. Make sure you include your address and phone number. When the town receives a letter from the State Police saying you passed or failed the town will contact you.
If you have been fingerprinted in the last year, check with the commissioner of the sport you were coaching. They might have your ID card.
CPR/AED Training
The town has begun a program to get all coaches trained in CPR/AED. Classes are scheduled periodically in town. Please check the home page for updates on scheduled classes.
